I feel like it was yesterday that I sat in a cafe in San Francisco crying (but trying to hide it so I wasn't the girl crying in a cafe) about how wrong everything in my life felt. 

Did I have the job? Yes. The boyfriend? Also yes. Did I have the approval of my family and peers? Absolutely. So why was I so distraught? Why did everything feel so...wrong?

All I could think about was how I didn't want some bland

boring plain pasta life. I wanted a big life, full of flavor, with adventure, and risk, and thrill. And off I went traveling the world, leaving all of it behind (sounds like an Elizabeth Gilbert book right?).
